Our customers’ convenience being our priority, modern infrastructures and amenities have been designed to offer you a unique experiential shopping in an enjoyable environment. This is the aim of our project at Bagatelle Mall. Since its opening in 2011, the Mall has established itself as a valued address for Mauritians due to its central strategic location on the island. The new wing, which is set to open in March 2021, will undoubtedly beef up the shopping offers of the Mall. This project will also act as a stepping-stone for local entrepreneurs as one of our ambitions is to empower them.

During the confinement, Ascencia has implemented a #SafeShopping plan which comprises of physical sanitary measures to ensure the safety of its employees, visitors, tenants and suppliers.

Tenants

We’re disinfecting the mall and the shops daily. In addition to the disinfection, we have added the fumigation exercise to access the smallest possible spaces. All people coming in the Malls systematically undergo a temperature check; access is not provided to those whose temperature exceeds 37.5°C. All products are cleaned before they are made available to the public. And clothes shops have to disinfect fitting rooms and garments after each try-on.

For restaurants and fast-food operators, strict sanitary conditions are being applied to ensure the smooth running of the operations. On the delivery service side, entry and exit using the back door are controlled. Before any goods are delivered, all vehicles are disinfected. A document certifying the vehicle’s disinfection is required before accessing the mall.

Above all, we’ve ensured that all products used for cleaning and disinfecting are effective against the SARS-COV-2 virus.

Visitors

For you, we carry out temperature checks and ask everyone to wear a mask upon their arrival at the mall. If you don’t have a mask, you can buy one at cost price at the mall itself. Furthermore, queue markers have been installed to ensure social distancing measures. Hands sanitizers are at your disposal after each 40 meters in our Malls. And finally designated bins have been put in place so you can throw away your mask when leaving the mall.

Bo’Valon Mall, le dernier-né des centres commerciaux signés Ascencia a ouvert ses portes en novembre dernier, après un peu plus d’un an de travaux.

Bo’Valon Mall est l’un des centres commerciaux les plus modernes et les plus confortables qui aient vu le jour à Maurice. Il occupe une surface d’un peu plus de 10 500 m2, incluant l’hypermarché King Savers sur 4 000 m2, et compte 28 magasins et 13 restaurants. Il comprend également un parking d’une capacité totale de 540 places et un spacieux food court. Une spécificité de ce centre est aussi qu’on y retrouve des enseignes qui ne sont pas présentes dans les autres malls d’Ascencia, telles qu’Espace Maison, Le Beau Bijou de Rêves, Mod-Paris, Kidstar Closet, Liquid, Lattelicious, The Chef, Y Not, Las Flamos, Kebstar, Good Korma, Mississippi Chicken et Ice Cream Palace.

Ce septième mall d’Ascencia – dont les promoteurs sont EnAtt et Atterbury, société sud-africaine de développement foncier – a été conçu dans une démarche respectueuse de l’environnement. L’architecture permet une ventilation naturelle et non polluante, l’eau de pluie est récupérée, un système de traitement des eaux usées a été installé. Pour finir, tout comme les quatre autres malls du groupe, Bo’Valon sera équipé de panneaux photovoltaïques.
